I saw the need for a forum, where those who are passionate in discussing the topics of the day, to get their opinion out, in a respectable, conversational format.
This site has been created to DEFINE and DEFEND who we as conservatives are, and make clear who we are not.
We intend to look at the “news” that comes from BOTH sides of the isle, and fact check when Americans are being lied to, or to take action when stories are NOT being reported. We also intend to address stories that are published with the express intent to create dissension between the left and the right
We hope to foster a dialog that intelligently discusses our differences in an effort to show how similar we really are. We intend to shatter the false narrative being created by the news media about who “the other side” is, no matter which “side” you are on.
TOGETHER, we can end the ability of the media to sow the seeds of dissension in an effort to divide the American people.
This site has been created to allow conservatives to DEFINE and DEFEND who we are, and make clear who we are not.
Here are a few examples….
We are constitutionalists. Our governance requires nothing more and nothing less.
We are conservative in our values, not archaic in our beliefs. We adapt and change as needed to benefit ourselves and our country,
HOWEVER,
We will not shift our “right wing ” values when “the left” attempts to move what is widely accepted as “the center”.
We are not extremists, because extremists by definition always do more harm than good.
We are NOT racist. Only INDIVIDUALS are racist, and they come in MANY flavors.
Conservatism does not espouse or uphold ignorant beliefs. We denounce any practice that diminishes or disparages a person based on race, age, sexuality, creed, or sex.
IN ADDITION,
We believe you should advance (or not) based SOLEY on your own merits. ANY policy that ADVANCES a person based on their race, age, sexuality, creed, or sex is just as wrong as a policy that DISCRIMINATES based on these same factors.
We are not “uneducated”, with or without holding a degree. Education and the values gained from it come from innumerable sources and simply obtaining a college degree in no way esteems you as “educated”.
We love our Country, and will work tirelessly to protect our ideals and the things we hold dear.
We want you input and your opinions on how you want conservatives to be seen.
We want you to write, comment, and share on this site, but remember, the entire purpose is to dispel the lies that we are dumb, naïve or deplorable. Any comments that are contrary or counterproductive to this end will be deleted and you will be banned from participation.
We intend to debate policy decisions, political positions and any relevant news with progressives, democrats, socialists, independents, as well as moderate and extreme conservatives.
When discussion are opened to the public, we intend to debate policies with FACT and TRUTH, without emotion, sarcasm, or name calling.
Any contributor that does not uphold this forums boundaries will be deleted and it’s author removed. Everyone wins when we have civil discussion, and everyone gets smarter.
